The beautiful thing about crystals is that there are no two alike so how do you choose the one for you?

1. Sometimes it is that you are simply attracted to a crystal and it’s almost like it talks to you or you feel that it is just right.
2. Other times we have a purpose, perhaps something is going on for you or the person you are buying the crystal for and you need to make an informed choice.
3. It might be that you want a crystal for the coming year that tunes in to your vibration.
4. Or it might be a special gift for a person so how do you decide which one would be best?
   

The easiest one is number one - simple attraction works every time. Now it might be that after you bring your crystal home you do some research, either online or through books, e.g. Judy Hall’s, “Crystal Bible” or “Love is in the Earth” by Melody, to find out why the crystal is so attractive to you because, believe me, there will most definitely be a reason.

Now about having a purpose; is it a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual issue? Again, there are plenty of reference books and one of my favourites is “Crystal Prescriptions”, by Judy Hall. I also find that the website www.healingcrystals.com is a fund of knowledge.  From there you can define which type of crystal will be the most helpful.

With the third option - asking which crystal will help you most in the coming year - it is good to look at the Numerology of 2020. The numbers indicate that we are going into a four year, and here the crystal, Danburite, known as the Buddha Stone, because it is considered to be “a bringer of the aspects of enlightenment and love towards realisation”, will be an overall help.  Or you might like to add your birth date, month and the year you are in and choose a crystal described in the book, “Love is in the Earth”, which gives you the correct information for the numerology of crystals.  For instance, mine will be 23+7+2020 = 1, therefore Angelite and Almandine would be helpful to me.

And lastly, if you are marking a special birthday or occasion maybe choose a crystal based on their Zodiac sign. This would add significance to your gift, and by consulting Mr Google, you can find which crystal best suits the specific birth date.  There are plenty of ways to make use of the power of crystals all of which will open a world that is helpful on many levels including the vibrational and most of all, is fun.
